Contact strip for pressure sensitive safety edges :
The ENT-R contact strip is designed for the use as switching element in pressure sensitive safety edges. It consists of a flexible isolating rubber hose with two flexible conductive rubber bands inside, which are kept at a defined distance in its dormant state. Stranded wires embedded in the conductive rubber bands reduce the length dependent resistance of the conductive rubber. The contact strip is terminated with appropriate end pieces type ENEH-x on both ends and can be pulled into a therefore designed rubber profile. In combination with an approved signal processing unit this assembly can be used as a pressure sensitive safety edge system.
